US Fertility’s research team demonstrates commitment to improving outcomes for fertility patients at this year’s ASRM Scientific Congress

DENVER [October 18, 2024] — US Fertility’s research team, consisting of medical professionals from fertility clinics across the nation, will present over 60 abstracts during the 2024 American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) Scientific Congress & Expo as part of its commitment to advancing knowledge and improving assisted reproductive technology (ART) treatment outcomes.

“As the largest partnership of physician-led fertility practices in the United States, US Fertility is at the forefront of reproductive medicine research,” shares Kate Devine, M.D., Medical Director and Chief Research Officer at US Fertility. “Our dedicated research team is committed to producing groundbreaking studies that enhance success rates for our patients, drive innovation in our practices and beyond, and propel the field of reproductive medicine forward.”

This year’s research by US Fertility presented at ASRM covers many important topics including state insurance mandates for fertility preservation, improving medication protocols and outcomes for in vitro fertilization, important insights for patients and providers throughout fertility treatment cycles, and third-party reproduction, among many others.

Hosted in Denver, the 80th ASRM Scientific Congress & Expo takes place October 19 through 23, 2024, and attracts more than 8,000 national and international physicians and professionals — distinguished academicians, clinicians, and scientific investigators in the field of human reproduction. The theme of the ASRM 2024 meeting is Equity, Access, and Innovation.

US Fertility’s Research Division is led by Kate Devine, M.D., Medical Director and Chief Research Officer at US Fertility, as well as a practicing reproductive endocrinologist (REI) and Regional Research Director at Shady Grove Fertility. She works in close collaboration with Phillip Romanski, M.D., Associate Research Director for US Fertility and practicing REI and Regional Research Director at RMA of New York; Kerry Flannagan, Ph.D., Lead Epidemiologist at US Fertility; Luis Hoyos, M.D., Regional Research Director and practicing REI at IVF Florida; Michael Homer, M.D., Regional Research Director and practicing REI at the Reproductive Science Center of the Bay Area (RSC Bay Area); Meike Uhler, M.D., Regional Research Director and practicing REI at the Fertility Centers of Illinois (FCI); and many others.

In addition to oral and poster presentations, several US Fertility physicians and nurses will receive awards for their research and publications and lead ASRMed talks, symposiums, interactive sessions, roundtable discussions, and post-graduate courses.

“I am honored to be recognized by ASRM for teaching the next generation of reproductive endocrinologists,” shares Micah Hill, D.O., recipient of ASRM’s Kavoussi Family Outstanding Teacher Award for 2024. “I take every opportunity to advance the field of reproductive endocrinology so that fertility patients can realize their dreams of parenthood and working alongside and teaching our fellows is such an integral part of that process.”
